TO ANY YOUNG MAN, 17 YEARS OF AGE, OR THEREABOUT.

By G.W.S.Ware.

March,22,1939.

What a blessing it would have been to me, if some one, who had my interest at heart, had written me, like I am writing you. About this time of life, any one is in danger of thinking he has found something new, among mankind, when certain organs of his body begin to function; whereas, such is the common lot of boys about this age. That the emission from the testicles, was the seminal fluid from these glands, which is used by nature to perpetuate the human family in marriage. That these glands, without proper control, are the most dangerous in the human body. Their abuse, is the favorite way Satan uses, to draw men and women, boys and girls, into sin, and on to the ruin of body, mind and spirit. God, in His Word gives repeated warnings against the Devil, as he tries to drag down human beings, through their passions. Ex. 20:14; Heb. 13:4; Prov. 1:10; 2214; 7th.chapter; 29:34:23.

"Therefore, shall a man, (NOT a boy) leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh. Gen. 2:22-24. God did not make men and women, for a plural sex sense. Matt. 19:4-6. 1 Cor. 6:15,16.

Dear grand-son:- I am sending this to you, because you are on the line of my descendants. If I were you, at your age, with your prospect of life, I would not suffer my love for the girls to effect my common sense. Thousands, have ruined their lives that way. Abstain, until you have to do as directed (Deu. 23:10). and wash himself. Fight on to control yourself, till you have your education, and a graduate Pharmacist, as that is the line you told me you had selected. By that time, and you have enough to support a wife, ask God (Prov. 18:22) for one. By that time you will have mature judgement to select one of the right body, mind and spirit. This is a revision of a letter I wrote on above date.

Your grandfather,

G.W.S. Ware.
