A HUMAN BEING WITH NO
WILL.

Will: The faculty of the mind by which one chooses or determines.
A human being endowed with a normal will is under everlasting gratitude to Almighty God
for such a gift, for without it all other endowments cannot be used. No one can show other
talents, if a will to direct them is absent. One cardinal sin of drunkenness, it steals
the human will. Man, is under obligation to God as his Creator and Redeemer, to keep his
human will in the best possible condition, as a medium for God to use in directing him
through this world. God, or men, cannot use a man who has lost his will; or when Satan has
complete control of it. Only one safe place on earth for the human will, and that is in
the WILL OF GOD TO DO IT. Some wicked people whose will is against God seem to floursh,
but to continue that way leads to where they have no will of their own; "having been
taken captive by him (the Devil) unto his will (2 Tim. 2:26)."
Asylums for the insane has a room to confine those who have no will of their own. Sane
care takers are paid by the State to be their will for them, for they absolutely have no
will of their own in any thing. Do you say: "Pityful," "hopeless,"
"utter despair." So it seems, but a person who is regarded as sane, but is led
captive by the will of the Devil not to submit to the will of God and be saved from the
Devil, is in worse conditin; for the poor crazy man will die out of his troubles, but the
other, unless he repents in time, will die eternally into his, his will defenseless
against the will of the Devil, forever. Awful, but true, with this knowledge to haunt him
forever: "on earth with me it was the will of God that I should not perish, (1 Tim.
2:4), but I rejected The will of God, to be led into this place where I am tormented in
these flames (Lu. 16:24).
