Stream, Anything flowing out of a source.
The human family is a stream flowing out from God, through Adam, to the end of time.
Every generation of men is a wave of this stream, following eachother in endless
succession, till time shall be no more; then all past generation will be resurrected, to
join thatlast one to come to judgement before God. There, every person will be carried by
the stream of his earthly life, into that which he loved best on earth, whether, it will
be good or evil.
Every human being is several years old before he learns that he is on his own stream of
life, through this world, into the presence of God, or into the presence of demons and
wicked men and women.
The children of God, by his command, joins their streams together to form the mighty
river, called the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. These streams united, forms a mighty
River that makes glad the City of God.
Christ warns mankind to beware of false prophets, which includes false churches, so
numerous in the world to day. When the stream of man’s life is made pure by the blood
of Christ, he cannot guide the stream of his redeemed life, to let it flow into a church,
the streams of which, is mixt with the errors of their founders. The Holy Spirit is in
this world to guide into all truth, which will cause the stream of every life, to flow in
channels of truth in the Church of Jesus Christ.
As to its purity you can test the stream of your life by the WORD OF GOD; and again you
can test its purity under the surface, by your own conversation. If it is pure, the bottom
of the stream of your life is pure. (Matt. 12:34).
