Myself.
By G.W.S. Ware.
---------------
Myself, means I or me in person. To write on this subject and keep even ballast, is
hard to do. To get some one else to do it for me, would sound like a bribe. If I should
offer $2000. for 4000 articles on myself, at $50, each, of 1000 words; I soon could see
that money go and have four million words about myself, and not worth a copper. What I
write about myself may be worth less, to others; but I am writing about myself, to see
what I can get out of this subject, I have no desire t boost or degrade myself, both is
foolish to try. Promotion, is a prerogative of God, none can usurp it.
I found myself a human being, through my ancestors, up to Adam from the hand of God.
The phrase, "Up to Adam" is correct, for he is the only one I have, who was
perfect, but lost that before he was my ancestor; but God my Creator remained the same
Almighty God.
I am not a human being from choice, for I was one about three years before I knew it;
hence, I had no choice about it. I knew I was, before I knew I was a human being. I know
not the exact time, it dawned on me. The nearest I can come to it was, when I was about five years of age, when my mother was reading about Jesus and I fell
in love with Him. That was the first touch I had, as a human being with God. That was a
long time ago, and it has been coming on me ever since, but the full import of it has not
come as yet. You see me a million years from now, and I can show you what it meant for me
to have been a human being on earth.
All the best things written about myself, are in Heaven, a copy of which, I have never
seen; all correct, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Not of me only, but also all those who
love, to bear his cross.
