THE HUMAN WILL.

WILL: Means, The mental and spiritual power of man by which he decides to choose, or reject any thing.

All intelligent beings are endowded with a will of their own, by their Creator, and are commanded to keep it subservient to His Will. God, angels, demons and human beings, each of their own order, have wills. Of these four classes of wills, that of God is only almighty. No one can think correctly, of two almighty wills coeval, yet antagonistic to each other. Any one is compelled to know that this world is covered with wills of natures, fighting for the mastery over each other. It began in the Garden of Eden, when Satan intruded his will into that holy place; and this paradise for man, was taken from the earth, to save it from the pollution of the Devil’s will; which was so awful, dangerous and deadly, God thrust out His human pair (Gen. 3:24), to rid His Paradise for man, from the will of Satan.

All demons have wills of evil, which cannot produce any good. None of them have ever had a good thought, done a kind act or spoken a kind word. They cannot be thus to each other.

The most valuable, yet dangerous thing a human being has is his own freedom of will; given him by Almighty God, to be used for, or against Him. No man is compelled to give his will to God; neither is any one, forced to yield his will to Satan (Jos. 23:15;1 Kings 18:21). It is not the will of God, that any human being should make choice of Satan (2 Peter 3:9).

Man, after he has made choice of God, finds some where in his dual nature, a will to do sins of profit, ease or pleasure. Invariably, the two wills make war on eachother; and the stronger forces the weaker will to yield. When any person finds that his will for God, has gone down before Satan, he can call for help from on High, and it will come, and he can command Satan not to rejoice over him (Micah 7:8). (Over)
