------------
Equal, means of the same rank, power and quality.
At birth man equal to his fellow men, for all of them have the same deprave nature. Man
is not responsible for his sinful nature, and because it is equal to the nature of all
others in sin, should be an incentive to eagerly take the chance God offers him to have
his nature change into one like God. Some men in history claim That they can bring their
nature up from the common sinful nature of men, into a nature unlike to that of Satan.
When they examine their moral life, they find it superior to many, who profess, That God
has change their nature. They overlook the fact, That after this life is ended, the great
test will come, then it will be too late, to be equal with those who had almighty God to
change their sinful nature into the nature of God. Heaven, the dwelling place of God, must
have inhabitants, who are like God by nature. Man cannot live under water and breathe air
through water like fish, for his nature is to breathe air out of water. A person, with his
sinful nature, beyond this life, will have lost all the restrants he had in this life,
will find himself completely under the control of his nature like Satan, which will carry
him on into all manner of wickedness. Here in this life, a man dares not to be equal in
sin with some people he knows, but beyond the grave, who knows, but that his unrestrained
depraved nature will drive him to become the equal of any sinner, or demon, in that
terific world of sin. On earth, no sinner craves to be the equal, of the most abandon
sinner he knows; for he could cut loose, from all restraints, and be his equal; but in
hell all restraint will be lost, and downward he will go, to become equal, with those in
that land of dark despair. Jude,6,7.
"Hasten sinner to be wise, wait not for to morrows Sun."
